Age Requirement

By creating an account or using BashWeather, you represent that you meet the minimum age requirement for your jurisdiction. BashWeather relies on Google Sign-In for account creation, which enforces its own age requirements.

No Knowing Collection of Children's Data

BashWeather does not knowingly collect, process, or store personal data from children under the applicable minimum age. We do not direct our service, content, or marketing to children.

We do not knowingly allow children to register accounts. Google Sign-In, our sole authentication method, restricts account creation to users meeting Google's minimum age requirements.

Parental Rights

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child under the applicable minimum age has used BashWeather or provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at privacy@bashweather.app. We will:

• Investigate the matter promptly
• Delete the child's account and all associated personal data
• Confirm deletion in writing within 30 days
• Cease any further collection or processing of that child's data

Google Sign-In Age Restrictions

BashWeather uses Google Sign-In as its sole authentication method. Google applies its own age restrictions and parental consent mechanisms in accordance with applicable law. We rely on Google's enforcement of these restrictions. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles children's data.

If We Discover Underage Use

If we become aware that a user is below the applicable minimum age, we will:

• Immediately suspend the account
• Delete all personal data associated with that account from our systems and Cloudflare KV storage
• Notify the parent or guardian if a contact address is available
• Record the deletion for compliance documentation

Safe Use for Families

We encourage parents to supervise their children's use of internet services, including weather applications. BashWeather does not contain adult content, but does request location access and push notification permissions, which parents should be aware of when their children use the application.
